Reflection for the past 9 weeks

1       What have I learned so far?

From the beginning till now, I learnt new things almost every week. Starting from grammar mistakes to different structures, getting the most out of an article and the proper ways of citation. The grammar that I learnt allowed me to identify my mistakes (though most of the time I still make mistakes, bad habits) and try to correct them. These mistake though small may make my overall report look bad and thus, affecting my grades. Getting the gist of the article and citation have helped my other module and I’m grateful that I learnt these in the lesson.

2.       What have I improved on?

So far, I feel that my content and structure of my response improved by quite a bit. Today, I am more confident in getting the correct information out of a text and of course, citing it to make it look more reliable for my responses. With the breakdown of the Problem solution essay (starting from summary to reader response to essay) I would say that this process allowed me to write comfortably without having to worry that I may not be answering the question.

3.       What would I like to learn from Week 10-Week12?

Overall, I feel that I have already learnt what I more or less need to know. However, more focus on essay and chances of crafting CLEAR topic sentences will be beneficial.

4.       Feedback

-Did visual & audio feedback help & how?

If visual feedback alone, I will find that it is not really helpful. However, when coupled with audio feedback, it explains clearly to me my mistakes and sometimes, the audio have more examples given as compared to written. Thus, audio feedback with something for me to refer to have made my learning much easier and fruitful. I think that it is good if this audio feedback can be brought over to over courses. 

-Comment on reasons you did not make changes.

I will usually look at my sentence structure and try to change into a new structure that I feel is near correct/correct. Hence, I did not make some changes.

-How accurate I were when I grade my assignment.
I will say that I'm quite accurate with my grading because I gave myself a relatively high marks for content and structure and lower for content. The scores that I get for my assignment is almost similar.

5.     Weaknesses to work on

 I guess my greatest weaknesses now will be reducing and ultimately stop having grammar mistakes in my responses. I think that wrong usage of grammar had already became a habit and more time is needed for me to change my bad habit.
